West Coast Meets Kingston: Snoop Dogg, Bennie Man, & Kemar McGregor Join Forces With Music's Finest On New Single "For You"

Featuring hitmakers Elephant Man, Stefflon Don, Shaneil Muir, Tifa, Vanessa Bling, Kraff, Pamputtae, and D’yani, the single is an explosive summer anthem fusing West Coast hip-hop and Jamaican sound

RELEASED JULY 10, 2026 VIA BILLBOARD KING RECORDS

NEW YORK, JULY 10, 2026 – Beenie Man joins forces with Snoop Dogg on their new single, “For You,” bringing together two of music’s most influential voices. Produced by legendary Billboard-charting producer Kemar McGregor, the track is a vibrant fusion of West Coast G-Funk style and authentic Caribbean dancehall riddims.

Serving as a massive cultural bridge, "For You" pairs Snoop Dogg’s signature, effortlessly smooth delivery with Beenie Man’s legendary, high-octane dancehall cadence. To elevate the track into a true global event, the powerhouse duo is backed by an elite roster of featured heavyweights and modern pathfinders, including Elephant Man, D’yani, Shaneil Muir, Tifa, Vanessa Bling, Stefflon Don, Kraff, and Pamputtae.

Built on a sub-heavy, syncopated riddim and punctuated by sleek synth arrangements, "For You" balances the grit of a classic sound clash with a commanding, universal appeal. The rotating roster of featured verses showcases a stunning array of vocal styles, ranging from rapid-fire patois and raw street swagger, to smooth melodic R&B stylings. Driven by an infectious hook, the song celebrates unconditional loyalty and fierce devotion, brought to life through the effortless chemistry between its all-star lineup.

This project brings together two global icons operating at the absolute peak of their cultural influence. Reggae icon Beenie Man, the undisputed "King of the Dancehall," was recently recognized by the Jamaican government with the historic Order of Distinction national honor for his foundational, decades-long contributions to music. This recognition comes amid his triumphant return to the U.S. live market, highlighted by a massive, sold-out headlining performance at the UBS Arena in New York, alongside headlining slots at Reggae in the Park Delaware, his own Summa Sizzle Fest, and the 64th Jamaican Independence Celebration in Florida.

He is joined by hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, who brings immense cultural momentum of his own. Snoop was recently honored with the prestigious 2026 Citizen Artist Award for his enduring community leadership and philanthropy, running parallel to his high-profile appointment by the USOPC as Team USA’s first-ever honorary coach and special correspondent for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. These accolades sit alongside his expanding commercial portfolio, which recently made headlines with his step into European sports club ownership as an investor in the Swansea City football club.

"For You" is available on all major digital streaming platforms worldwide via Billboard King Records.

Taquarius Ford Examines Hip Hop's Cultural Power in Unbecoming

Hip hop has grown into one of the world's most influential cultural forces, shaping far more than music. In Unbecoming: The Miseducation of a Poet, author Taquarius Ford explores how hip hop, media, education, religion, and culture influence identity, beliefs, and the way we see ourselves.

Rather than criticizing hip hop, Taquarius Ford examines its cultural impact and invites readers to ask an important question: How much of who we are was intentionally chosen, and how much was shaped by the world around us?

Through personal reflection, cultural commentary, and poetic storytelling, Taquarius Ford encourages readers to think critically about the messages they consume and the voices that have helped shape their lives.

"Culture is one of our greatest teachers," says Taquarius Ford. "The question isn't whether we're being influenced. The question is whether we're aware of what's influencing us."

As conversations continue across the hip hop community about authenticity, mental health, entrepreneurship, relationships, and cultural responsibility, Unbecoming offers a timely perspective on the power of culture to shape individuals and communities.

Wadena "Denagirl" Kicks Off New Music Friday With "Drop Dem Booties (Club Remix)" & "Girl Play (Remix)" - Two Summer Anthems Arrive July 3

Long Island, NY – Independent recording artist Wadena "Denagirl" is heating up the summer with a wave of new music, led by her latest singles, "Smoke-N-Chill" and "Bum Busta." Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer and hip-hop legend Zaytoven, "Bum Busta" marks a major milestone in Wadena's growing career. Continuing the momentum, Wadena officially releases two highly anticipated summer records, "Drop Dem Booties (Club Remix)" and "Girl Play (Remix)," on New Music Friday, July 3, 2026, just in time for the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

Designed to become the soundtrack of the summer, "Drop Dem Booties (Club Remix)" delivers an infectious "jump on it," bounce-and-drop-low energy perfect for clubs, pool parties, beach parties, cookouts, festivals, and holiday celebrations. "Girl Play (Remix)" brings a completely different vibe, blending smooth melodies with feel-good rhythms that invite listeners to relax, dance, and enjoy the moment.

Together with "Smoke-N-Chill" and "Bum Busta," Wadena is delivering four standout records that showcase her versatility across Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Trap, Melodic Rap, and Club Music.

Wadena's remarkable comeback makes the new releases even more meaningful. After suffering a traumatic brain injury, she faced the difficult challenge of relearning how to talk, walk, sing, and perform. Refusing to let those obstacles define her future, Wadena returned to the recording studio with renewed determination.

Her first recording sessions after recovering took place in Atlanta, Georgia, with Grammy Award-winning producer and hip-hop legend Zaytoven and his team. Unknown to Zaytoven, it was Wadena's first time back in a professional recording studio after recovering portions of her long-term and short-term memory.

For Wadena, the sessions became proof that her creativity had returned. After hearing Zaytoven's production, she re-worked "Smoke-N-Chill" before recording both the lead and background vocals. The following day, she recorded "Bum Busta."

"I walked into the studio not knowing what to expect after everything I'd been through," says Wadena. "To re-work 'Smoke-N-Chill,' record my lead and background vocals, and then come back the next day to record 'Bum Busta' reminded me that I still had it. That moment meant everything to me."

According to Wadena, before and after traveling from New York to Atlanta to write and  record  with Zaytoven, she experienced events that she says invaded her privacy and interfered with her music career. Wadena alleges that members of Suffolk County, New York law enforcement and narcotics units subjected her, her disabled and elderly mother, her sister, and their residence to warrantless searches while scrutinizing the lyrics to "Smoke-N-Chill."

Wadena says she was questioned about whether she was traveling between Long Island, New York, and Atlanta, Georgia, to traffic drugs because of the song's lyrics. She strongly disputes those suspicions.

"My music is protected artistic expression," Wadena says. " I am serting the record straight.

PoloSongs tell stories, create moods, and allow artists to express themselves creatively. 'Smoke-N-Chill' was never intended to promote illegal drug use. I don't use drugs, and neither does Zaytoven. Marijuana is legal in New York. Artists should be free to create without being judged by song titles or lyrics."

Despite those experiences, Wadena refused to let anything stop her return to music.

Now, with "Drop Dem Booties (Club Remix)," "Girl Play (Remix)," "Smoke-N-Chill," and "Bum Busta" building momentum, Wadena is preparing for the release of her highly anticipated EP, "Wadena vs. Wadena: Back Outside," arriving during her birthday weekend on August 31, 2026.

Fans are encouraged to stream the new singles, request them on radio, add them to playlists, share them across social media, and join the growing Play Wadena's Music movement by supporting independent music this Fourth of July weekend.

"Drop Dem Booties (Club Remix)" and "Girl Play (Remix)" are available on all major digital streaming platforms beginning Friday, July 3, 2026.
